The problem we exist to solve

Nine in ten
arrive on
a container ship

Almost every precision reducer inside an Indian robot arrives from Outside. That means long lead times, no design input, no local support, and a cost floor nobody here controls.

TorqueFusion builds the actuator itself — the single most expensive and most import-dependent part of the machine. Owned design, domestic supply chain, engineering support in your timezone.

  • Weeks, not months. Local machining and assembly instead of import cycles.
  • Design access. Talk to the engineers who drew the part.
  • Cost you can plan around. No exposure to import duty and freight swings.
What the numbers mean

Torque you can
hold, not just hit

Peak torque is what an actuator survives for a moment. Continuous torque is what it will still be making an hour later at temperature. The gap between those two lines is where most robots are quietly over-specified — or quietly failing.

Product range

Two platforms.
One motion architecture.

Every TorqueFusion actuator integrates motor, reduction, controller, brake and dual encoders into one housing — so you design a joint, not a subassembly.

DWG. TF60-A
TF60 Cycloidal drive

Compact precision for
humanoids, arms and exoskeletons

A cycloidal reduction stage gives high ratio and near-zero backlash in a short axial package — the geometry you want at a shoulder, elbow or hip joint where repeatability matters more than raw speed.

High-torque output for
quadrupeds and mobile platforms

Planetary reduction trades a little backlash for torque density and shock tolerance. Built for legged robots and outdoor platforms that land hard, run hot and stay out all day.

Second business line — deployed today

i-VISION

AI human detection that stops the machine before the machine finds the person.

A camera-based safety layer that watches the hazard zone, identifies a human in real time and interlocks directly to your PLC. Already installed and running in plants across Pune's industrial belt.

Real-time detection

Human presence identified in the danger zone, frame by frame.

PLC interlock

Hard-wired stop signal into your existing safety circuit.

Fault display

Local monitor showing live status, event log and fault state.

Retrofit ready

Added to existing lines without rebuilding the machine.

Capability

Everything under one roof

Mechanical design, motor control electronics, firmware and test — built in-house so the actuator behaves as one system instead of four bought-in parts.

MECHANICAL

Gear & housing design

Cycloidal and planetary geometry, tolerance stack-up, bearing selection and thermal path — led by 26+ years of precision design practice.

ELECTRONICS

Motor controller

In-house FOC controller , dual absolute encoders and CAN-FD, designed for the actuator envelope.

FIRMWARE

Control & comms

Position, velocity and torque modes with a clean CAN protocol, so integration into your controller is a day's work, not a quarter's.

VALIDATION

Test & measurement

Dynamometer runs, backlash measurement, thermal soak and endurance cycling — every claim on the datasheet is a number we measured.

How we work with you

From enquiry to
integrated joint

Most of our customers are designing a machine, not buying a catalogue part. The process is built around that.

STAGE 01

Requirement review

Send us the joint duty cycle — torque, speed, envelope, bus voltage. We tell you honestly whether TF60, TF80 or neither is the right fit.

STAGE 02

Specification & sizing

We come back with the platform recommendation, the measured specification and the mounting envelope, so you can design around a real part before any money moves.

STAGE 03

Evaluation unit

A single actuator with the control interface documented, so your team can bench it against your own requirement.

STAGE 04

Production supply

Batch delivery with test reports per unit, and engineering support that answers on Indian working hours.

Designed and built in Pune

Made in India,
not just assembled

Gear geometry, controller hardware, firmware and test — all of it happens here. The actuator is not an imported module with a local label on it. That is the entire reason this company exists.

DEPLOYED

i-VISION in production plants

Safety systems installed and running across Pune's industrial belt — real commissioning experience behind the hardware.

IN DEVELOPMENT

Two actuator platforms

TF60 cycloidal and TF80 planetary, both on the same 48 V bus and CAN-FD protocol.

SUPPLY CHAIN

Domestic machining

Local manufacturing partners, so lead times are measured in weeks and not exposed to import duty or freight.

OWNERSHIP

Our own IP

The gear design, the controller and the firmware are ours to change when a customer needs something different.

Questions engineers ask

Before you
design us in

The things that come up in almost every first call. If yours is not here, ask us directly — you will get an engineer, not a form response.

No. We do not hand out models and part numbers for people to pick from. Send us the joint — torque, speed, envelope, bus voltage, duty cycle — and we specify the actuator around that requirement and deliver it built to it. You get the mounting envelope and the measured specification you need to design around, direct from our engineering team.

Evaluation units ship in weeks rather than the months an imported reducer takes, because machining and assembly happen here in Pune. Production batches depend on volume — tell us your quantity and schedule and we will give you a real date rather than an optimistic one.

On production volumes, yes. We own the gear geometry, the controller hardware and the firmware, so a ratio change or a different output flange is an engineering decision on our side rather than a request to a supplier in another country.

CAN-FD, with position, velocity and torque modes. The current loop is closed inside the actuator, so your controller sends a setpoint rather than running a motion loop per axis. Protocol documentation comes with the evaluation unit.

Measured. Dynamometer runs, backlash measurement, thermal soak and endurance cycling on our own bench. We would rather publish a smaller number we can stand behind than a headline figure we cannot reproduce in front of you.

You talk to the person who designed the part, on the same working day, in your timezone. That is the whole argument for buying an actuator built in India rather than imported.

Start here

Tell us about your joint.

Send the torque, speed and envelope you're designing to. We'll come back with a recommendation and a measured specification — usually within two working days.
